Larry Wall

Larry Wall is a native of Baton Rouge, LA. Following graduation from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, LA (now the University of Louisiana--Monroe), with a degree in Journalism, Wall began a 16 year career as a newspaper reporter.

Most of his newspaper career was spent as senior reporter of The Daily Review Newspaper. While there he won several Louisiana Press Association Awards for governmental reporting, depth reporting, investigative reporting and other awards. His areas of specialization were local government, the oil and gas industry and coastal erosion and restoration.

In 1988 Wall became the Director of Public Affairs for the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association in Baton Rouge. Mid-Continent is the oldest trade association in the state exclusively representing all aspects of the oil and gas industry. In addition to his communication and public relation duties, Wall for most of his tenure at Mid-Continent served as office manager, finance director and IT supervisor. He left Mid-Continent in December of 2010 when his position was eliminated.

Today, Wall works as a free-lance writer, computer consultant and has a small public relations firm, Wall & Associates LLC, which can be found on the Internet at www.larrywall.net.

Wall resides in Baton Rouge with his wife Nan, son David and three Beagles, Hannah, Annie and Sam.
